        <![CDATA[ I am getting heartily tired of major UK companies trying to placate their customers by admitting to having learnt lessons. It just isn&#39;t good enough. The
reason why top executives are paid phenomenal sums is because they are supposed to know what they are doing. They are being paid for their expertise and
experience of lessons ALREADY LEARNT earlier in their careers. Learning more lessons at this stage is NOT what they are paid for.

Is it cheaper and easier to fix the problems as they occur? Well yes is the answer. Virtually all major projects such as this have issues and it is simpler to
fix them on the fly rather than spend a long time preparing and getting the facility ready. It&#39;s not right, but it&#39;s a fact which is true across all
projects of this size. The scapegoats will not be the senior exec&#39;s, but the Project manager in charge of the baggage element of the project
