the horse, but, The Queen never wears a hard hat, and I think her decision is a wise one.....the horse she rides might just get spooked and, well, it
doesn&#39;t bear thinking about,....Yes, perhaps a little less engine noise would be good, also it would, I think, let us hear more of the childrens&#39;

The Queen knows all about the cannons! She mentioned it yesterday at the tree-planting, asking the Mayor if he would be &#39;banging in the Long Walk
tomorrow&#39;? She also said she would be out riding earlier because it frightens the horses! (Probably not actually as they are all trained to a very high

			<description><![CDATA[ That was fantastic, thamesweb, thankyou........I noticed the &#39;mini&#39; guardsman,(boy), with a red plume on the right-hand side of his bearskin......which
regiment is that, please? I&#39;d ask my husband, but he&#39;s out......Did The Queen have any idea about the salute? and who organised it all? The noise from
the overhead planes is something else. I think the children were very well behaved too, considering the noise from the mini-cannons and the planes. Smashing. ]]></description>

It is rather interesting looking at old pictures of the castle, be they photos or paintings. The castle always seems to have an overlarge flag flying... I am
