			<description><![CDATA[ Two similar pictures taken many years apart - thankyou thamesweb....The Alms houses are, as I&#39;ve written in another contribution, where my late
Mother-in-law lived for eleven years.  They are now modern flats for &#39;mature&#39; people who have lived in Windsor for most of their lives - well, that was
one of the conditions when Ivy applied for residence there.  Each flat has kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and sitting room.  There is a laundrette on site.  The
gardens are beautiful and some... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ On further inspection I see that the Almshouses, at this end of the hedge are just visible in the recent colour view. They are recognisable by the different
coloured, banded, brickwork which was characteristic of Victorian building. I am told it was inspired by the new museums in South Kensington and the interest
in all things botanical, scientific and geological. ]]></description>
