I expect that you have seen this page but I repeat the link here for any others that stumble across this thread. You are right about a dearth of pictures of that side of the street. Quite simply the photographer would have wanted to sell as many prints as possible and that means taking pictures of something used by, or visited by, a lot of people. I am preparing a (small) history of a particular house on the High Street in Windsor. I have the 1851-1901 census information and hope to soon see the actual deeds of the building. I have looked through the photos on this site and for some reason the building is always just out of shot!
