My previous enquiry was about the Short family, resident in Windsor between 1841-1871. It was my g/g grandmother (Anna Patrick) who married Edward Short (son of George, listed as a 'Dyer') in 1858 & was widowed in 1866. Edward had been a carpenter most of his life, but at the time of his death his occupation was 'Beer Retailer'. I now have another marriage for her to a man by the name of Charles Baggs, on 9 Sept 1872 at 'The Parish Church' Clewer. All I know of Charles is that his occupation was 'Beer Seller' (presumably a link with her first husband somewhere) and at the time of marriage both parties were widowed & resident in Oxford Terrace. Charles's father was Thomas Baggs 'Labourer'.
Present at the marriage was someone named Sophia Baggs. I don't know if she was a daughter from a previous marriage or a sister of Charles? Do you have any info please or could you direct me?
