I would love to beg or borrow any old pictures you have of Windsor for the Royal Windsor Website so that they can be enjoyed by 1000s of people for, I hope,
evermore. The pictures need only be loaned for a copy to be taken. In return I can supply you with bigger prints if that would be useful.
Anything is of interest, especially where it can be said of the picture "It's not like that any more" or if it illustrates a lost building, an event in the town, a royal procession or even a school fete.
It does not matter if the photographs are just amateur family snaps. In many ways that is better still because it will capture the fun, excitement or interest in the event! Even damaged pictures are valuable, they can be repaired, so don't dismiss anything as unwanted!!
The Windsor website is also on the lookout for pictures of flooding and other extreme weather conditions such as the after effects of gales or freezes. The pictures do not have to be dated and you do not even have to write anything, but if you do have a story to go with the picture I would love to hear it. Please email editor@thamesweb.co.uk?subject=Pictures for The Windsor Website
