So I made an excuse to talk to this lovely girl, about how much I envied her living in Adelaide Square, especially just now when all the blossom is out - a
real picture. But she went off on one, telling me how hopeless it was to try to park round there after a day's work, even for residents. And the traffic in
Windsor ... "Nightmare!". So I made my excuses and left.
But she was right, of course, and all the infilling must only aggravate parking and traffic problems, which RBWM has consistently failed to address properly. Current traffic schemes seem to me to be just patches. The project for taking tourists right out of the equation by means of a real park & ride with a rail link into W&E central station appears to have sunk without trace.
It can only get worse.
