Thanks thamesweb and thanks Ben. Yes, the camera does 'click' when we press the eject button, but all we hear along with the 'click', is a
sound as though the film were being 'wound on' or something like that, and yes, there's something stopping the 'eject' action from working
and the door from opening. We'll look in our local 'freebie' and perhaps find something or someone who can help out. I have got 'Windows
Vista' on this laptop, but not sure about xp?
Ben, the 'Thames Shipwrecks' prog. is on again this evening at 8p.m., just incase you're able to watch.
I've been reading up on 'The Flying Duchess', (of Bedford), not only was she a great aviatrix but she owned 'Sapphire I and Sapphire II',
two beautiful vessels. One of these vessels she offered to The Admiralty for use in the war, provided she could captain it herself...the Admiralty turned her
offer down saying they couldn't have a 'lady' in charge of a vessel. Have you heard of or seen the two paintings of these boats Ben? They were
shown very briefly on a t.v. prog. and looked beautiful. I wondered what happened to them after her death. She was reported as 'missing' in her tiny
aircraft and was never heard of again, but pieces of her plane were washed ashore in Great Yarmouth.
