Borough Planning Application re Convent
The application is for the use of the two (listed) chapels for music performance and art exhibitions. As is always the case there are pros and cons to the plans but as Windsor is poorly served for suitable venues, relying currently on the Parish Church, the Waterloo Chamber and the Farrer Theatre and School Hall at Eton College. Perhaps it is time we had something, albeit a chapel with, almost certainly, suspect acoustics.
That said, I trust that the original building will not be messed up too much with all the paraphernalia required to meet modern safety standards.
